Acceptance Criteria
NewStream technicians analyze every load of used antifreeze before it is accepted, using the seven criteria listed in the following table. Depending on a load's characteristics, it is either acceptable for recycling, acceptable for recycling with a surcharge, or rejected for recycling. Some used antifreeze loads that are rejected for recycling may instead be treated in our world-class wastewater treatment facility, if agreed upon by NewStream and the supplier. Applicable fees for disposal and treatment of wastewater will apply.

* Because NewStream also has a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment facility, some used antifreeze loads that are rejected for recycling may instead be treated as wastewater if agreed upon by NewStream and the supplier.
Applicable fees for disposal and treatment will apply.
Additionally, the presence of any of the following contaminants will result in a load being rejected for recycling:
Solvent
Carburetor or brake cleaners
Freon
Gasoline
Soap
Transmission or brake fluids
Windshield washer fluids
Customers receive copies of lab results, along with a complete explanation of any applicable surcharges.
Accepted suppliers also receive a Certificate of Recycling for record-keeping and reporting.
